JESUS E. TORRES graduated from Los Angeles Harbor College where he received an AA degree in Liberal Arts and a Skills Certificate in Architecture Technology. Subsequently, he transferred to California State Polytechnic University at Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) where he studied Urban and Regional Planning in the College of Environmental Design.
While at Cal Poly Pomona, he was the recipient of various awards and scholarships including the National Hispanic Scholarship Fund in 1995 and 1996, the first annual Hilda Solis Scholarship Award in 1997 and the Presidents’ Future Scholars Scholarship in 1998.
Most recently, he was recognized by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences for participation as a Graphic Designer on the recording Voz y Guitarra by Ixya Herrera.
With over 17 years of graphic design experience, his passion for the arts and the environment have enabled him to draw inspiration and create imagery that is captivating and exceptional.
